An occupational health organization is seeking a Nurse Practitioner (NP) for a one-day assignment in McLean, Virginia. This role will focus on conducting Human Performance Exams and clearance evaluations in a high-volume screening environment.
About the Opportunity:
- Schedule: Monday, September 28th
- Hours: 7am to 6pm
- Setting: On-site clinical setting
Responsibilities:
- Perform Human Performance Exams to assess functional movement, musculoskeletal stability, and physical capabilities
- Evaluate lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling capacity as part of job-specific clearance screenings
- Conduct focused physical exams and health screenings, including vitals review, medical history review, and general assessment
- Determine medical clearance and fit-for-duty status based on clinical findings and physical demand requirements
- Document evaluations accurately and work efficiently with onsite clinical and operational teams in a fast-paced event environment
Qualifications:
- Active Nurse Practitioner (NP) license
- Experience in occupational health, urgent care, employee health, or pre-employment screenings
- Ability to make clinical clearance decisions and assess functional capacity for job-specific tasks
- Strong clinical judgment, documentation, and decision-making skills
- Reliable and able to commit to the full shift
