A growing employer-sponsored healthcare clinic is seeking an experienced Family Nurse Practitioner to provide comprehensive primary care services to employees and their dependents in New Jersey. This opportunity offers a predictable weekday schedule, low patient volume, and the ability to deliver relationship-focused care in a patient-centered environment.
This role is ideal for providers who enjoy preventive medicine, wellness visits, chronic disease management, and developing long-term relationships with patients across the lifespan.
Opportunity Highlights

- Occasional Saturday coverage (approximately once every 4 weeks)

Practice Setting
Providers work within an employer-sponsored health clinic focused on delivering high-quality, accessible healthcare services to employees and their families. The clinic emphasizes preventive care, health coaching, wellness initiatives, chronic disease management, and continuity of care rather than high patient volumes.
Clinical Responsibilities
- Conduct annual physicals and preventive wellness examinations
- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic medical conditions
- Perform well-woman examinations and preventive screenings
- Manage chronic disease conditions
- Provide health coaching and wellness education
- Administer immunizations and vaccinations
- Order and interpret laboratory testing
- Review diagnostic results and treatment plans
- Manage occupational health and workers' compensation cases
- Coordinate care with specialists and community providers
- Document patient encounters utilizing Athena or Cority EMR
Schedule
- Monday & Wednesday: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
- Tuesday & Thursday: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
- Friday: 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM
- Approximately 40 hours per week
- Occasional Saturday coverage available
- Initial coverage beginning late 2026
- Consistent schedule through April 2027
- Potential extension beyond assignment end date
Patient Volume & Support
- Average 10-12 patients per day
- Family practice population ages 2+
- MA and nursing support available

Qualifications
Required
- Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner (ANCC or AANP)
- Active New Jersey Nurse Practitioner License
- Active DEA Registration
- Current BLS Certification
- Minimum 2 years of Family Nurse Practitioner experience
- Recent outpatient primary care experience
- Experience performing well-woman examinations
- Ability to treat patients across the lifespan

- DOT Physical experience
- Athena EMR experience
