Client is seeking a compassionate and experienced Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) with an interest in Functional Medicine to provide comprehensive primary and functional healthcare to patients across the lifespan.
The ideal candidate takes a patient-centered, whole-person approach to healthcare, with an emphasis on understanding and addressing contributing factors to illness while supporting patients' overall physical, mental, and emotional well-being.

Job Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive annual wellness examinations, physicals, and routine patient evaluations.
Assess, diagnose, and treat acute and chronic health conditions across the lifespan.
Develop, implement, and manage individualized patient treatment plans.
Order, review, and interpret laboratory and diagnostic testing.
Prescribe medications and other appropriate therapies within the applicable scope of practice.
Incorporate functional medicine principles and evidence-informed recommendations into patient care.
Educate patients and families regarding disease prevention, wellness, lifestyle modifications, and healthy behaviors.
Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as clinically appropriate.
Coordinate patient care and make specialist referrals when indicated.
Maintain accurate, timely, and complete clinical documentation.
Collaborate effectively with physicians, healthcare professionals, and other members of the care team.
Demonstrate the ability to work independently while maintaining a strong patient-focused approach.
Qualifications
Master's or Doctorate Degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
Active Texas APRN license.
Eligibility for prescriptive in Texas.
Current Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) certification.
Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and critical-thinking skills.
Excellent communication and patient-education abilities.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Commitment to compassionate, personalized, and comprehensive patient care.
Preferred Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years of clinical experience as a Nurse Practitioner.
IFMCP (Institute for Functional Medicine Certified Practitioner) certification, completed or currently in progress.
Experience or strong interest in functional medicine and whole-person healthcare.
