Position Overview
We are seeking experienced Family Nurse Practitioners (FNPs) to join a collaborative clinical care team in O'Fallon, MO.
The Nurse Practitioner will provide evidence-based primary and family healthcare, including comprehensive patient assessment, diagnosis, treatment, chronic condition management, health counseling, and care coordination.
Prior primary care or urgent care experience is required.
Key Responsibilities

Provide evidence-based primary and family care to patients.

Perform comprehensive assessments, routine examinations, and diagnostic testing.

Diagnose and treat illnesses, injuries, and chronic health conditions.

Provide health counseling and promote healthy lifestyle choices.

Support health screenings, behavioral health, wellness, and chronic condition management.

Apply quality measurement principles in the management of chronic diseases.

Coordinate care with physicians and other healthcare professionals.

Manage patient appointments and follow-up activities.

Educate patients and encourage active participation in their healthcare.

Perform clinic administrative duties, including opening/closing, inventory, insurance verification, payment collection, and maintaining a clean environment.

Practice autonomously while collaborating with the clinical care team.
Required Qualifications
-
Minimum 1 year of recent Primary Care experience as a Nurse Practitioner in family medicine, primary care, or urgent care.

Master's degree from a Family Nurse Practitioner program.

Current national board certification.

Current NP license in the state of employment.

NP license in good standing with no current or prior disciplinary actions.

Strong clinical judgment and ability to practice independently.

Excellent verbal, written, and electronic communication skills.

Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

Initiative, problem-solving skills, adaptability, and flexibility.

Proficiency with electronic medical systems and healthcare technology.

Willingness to obtain additional/multi-state licensure as needed.

Verifiable high school diploma or GED.
Certifications & Documentation

Current BLS certification is required.

BLS must be from the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC).

Candidates must provide documentation/screenshots of their BLS certification and professional license.

DEA registration may be required during onboarding.
Schedule
This is a full-time position requiring approximately 40 hours per week.

Weekdays: 8:30 AM – 7:30 PM

Weekends: 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM

Weekend Rotation: Every other weekend

Weekday Schedule: 5 weekday shifts every two weeks
