Position Overview

We are seeking experienced Family Nurse Practitioners (FNPs) to join a collaborative clinical care team in Creve Coeur, MO.

The Nurse Practitioner will provide evidence-based primary and family healthcare, including patient assessment, diagnosis, treatment, chronic condition management, health counseling, and care coordination. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced provider who enjoys practicing autonomously while working closely with a dedicated healthcare team.

Prior primary care or urgent care experience is required.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide evidence-based primary and family care to patients.

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments, routine examinations, and diagnostic testing.

• Diagnose and treat injuries, illnesses, and chronic health conditions.

• Provide health counseling and promote healthy lifestyle choices.

• Support health screenings, behavioral health, wellness, and chronic condition management.

• Monitor and manage quality outcomes related to chronic disease.

• Coordinate care with physicians and other healthcare professionals.

• Handle patient appointments and follow-up activities.

• Educate patients and encourage active participation in their healthcare.

• Perform clinic administrative duties, including opening/closing, inventory, insurance verification, payment collection, and maintaining a clean environment.

• Practice autonomously while collaborating with the broader clinical care team.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of recent Primary Care experience as a Nurse Practitioner in family medicine, primary care, or urgent care.

• Master's degree from a Family Nurse Practitioner program.

• Current national board certification.

• Current NP license in the state of employment.

• NP license must be in good standing with no current or prior disciplinary actions.

• Strong clinical judgment and ability to practice independently.

• Excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking skills.

• Strong problem-solving skills, initiative, adaptability, and flexibility.

• Proficiency with electronic medical systems and healthcare technology.

• Willingness to obtain additional/multi-state licensure as needed.

• Verifiable high school diploma or GED.

Required Certification & Documentation

• Current BLS certification is required.

• BLS certification must be issued by the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC).

• Candidates must provide documentation/screenshots of their BLS certification and professional license.

• DEA registration may be required during onboarding.

Schedule

This is a full-time position requiring approximately 40 hours per week.

• Weekdays: 8:30 AM – 7:30 PM

• Weekends: 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM

• Weekend Rotation: Every other weekend

• Weekday Schedule: 5 weekday shifts every two weeks

• Possible holiday rotations may apply.
