Are you an experienced Nurse Practitioner who is passionate about providing exceptional, patient-centered care? Join the MinuteClinic team in Garner, NC and help make healthcare more accessible and impactful for patients in your community! 🌟
You’ll collaborate with a dedicated clinical care team to deliver evidence-based primary and family care, manage health conditions, educate patients, and support better overall health outcomes.
🗓️ Schedule
- ⏰ 32 hours per week
- Monday–Friday: 8:30 AM–7:30 PM
- 🍽️ Lunch: 1:30 PM–2:30 PM
- Saturday: 9:00 AM–5:30 PM
- Sunday: 9:00 AM–4:30 PM
- 🔄 Works every other weekend
- 📞 On-call: 2 weekends every 6 weeks
- 🎉 Possible holiday rotations
💼 What You’ll Do
- 🩺 Provide evidence-based primary and family care.
- 🔍 Assess, diagnose, and treat patients across a variety of health conditions.
- ❤️ Manage acute and chronic conditions and support positive patient outcomes.
- 🔬 Perform routine examinations, health screenings, and diagnostic testing.
- 💡 Educate patients about healthy lifestyle choices and preventive care.
- 🌱 Encourage patients to take an active role in their healthcare and wellness.
- 🤝 Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive care plans.
- 📋 Manage patient appointments and follow-ups.
- 💳 Assist with insurance verification and payment collection.
- 🏥 Support clinic operations, including opening/closing and inventory management.
- 💻 Utilize electronic medical systems and technology effectively.
- 🚀 Practice autonomously while working within a collaborative clinical care team.
🎓 Qualifications
We’re looking for candidates who have:
- 🎓 Master’s degree from a Family Nurse Practitioner program
- 📜 Current national board certification
- 🪪 Active NP license in North Carolina
- ⭐ Minimum 1 year of recent Primary Care experience as an NP in Family Medicine, Primary Care, or Urgent Care
- ✅ License in good standing with no current or prior disciplinary actions
- 🧠 Knowledge of chronic disease management and quality measurement
- 💬 Excellent communication skills
- 📋 Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- 💪 Ability to work independently and practice autonomously
- 🔄 Strong problem-solving skills, initiative, adaptability, and flexibility
- 💻 Proficiency with information management and technology
- 🌎 Willingness to obtain multi-state licensure as needed
🚨 Candidates without prior Primary Care or Urgent Care experience will not be considered.
