You’ll work alongside a dedicated clinical care team to provide evidence-based primary and family care, manage health conditions, educate patients, and help drive better health outcomes. 🌟
🗓️ Schedule
- ⏰ 32 hours per week
- Monday–Friday: 8:30 AM–7:30 PM
- 🍽️ Lunch: 1:30 PM–2:30 PM
- Saturday: 9:00 AM–5:30 PM
- Sunday: 9:00 AM–4:30 PM
- 🔄 Works every other weekend
- 📞 On call: 2 weekends every 6 weeks
- 🎉 Possible holiday rotations
💼 Your Responsibilities
- 🩺 Provide evidence-based primary and family care.
- 🔍 Perform patient assessments, diagnoses, treatments, and routine examinations.
- ❤️ Manage acute and chronic health conditions.
- 🧠 Provide health counseling, screenings, wellness services, and patient education.
- 🔬 Perform diagnostic testing to assist with diagnosis and treatment.
- 🤝 Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive care plans.
- 🌱 Encourage patients to take an active role in their health and well-being.
- 📋 Handle patient follow-ups, appointments, insurance verification, and payment collection.
- 🏥 Support clinic operations, including opening/closing and inventory management.
- 💻 Utilize electronic medical systems and technology effectively.
- 🚀 Practice autonomously while contributing to a collaborative clinical care environment.
🎓 What We’re Looking For
Qualified candidates must have:
- 🎓 Master’s degree from a Family Nurse Practitioner program
- 📜 Current national board certification
- 🪪 Active NP license in North Carolina
- ⭐ Minimum 1 year of recent Primary Care experience as an NP in Family Medicine, Primary Care, or Urgent Care
- ✅ License in good standing with no current or prior disciplinary actions
- 🧠 Knowledge of quality measurement and chronic disease management
- 💬 Excellent verbal, written, and electronic communication skills
- 📋 Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- 💪 Ability to work independently and practice autonomously
- 🔄 Strong problem-solving skills, initiative, adaptability, and flexibility
- 💻 Proficiency with information management and technology
- 🌎 Willingness to obtain multi-state licensure as needed
🚨 Important: Candidates without prior Primary Care or Urgent Care experience will not be considered.
