Are you an experienced Nurse Practitioner passionate about providing high-quality, patient-centered care? We’re looking for a dedicated NP to join our MinuteClinic team in Clayton, NC!
This is an exciting opportunity to provide evidence-based primary and family care while working alongside a dedicated clinical care team focused on improving patient outcomes. ❤️
🗓️ Schedule
- ⏰ 32 hours per week
- Monday–Friday: 8:30 AM–7:30 PM
- 🍽️ Lunch: 1:30 PM–2:30 PM
- Saturday: 9:00 AM–5:30 PM
- Sunday: 9:00 AM–4:30 PM
- 🔄 Every-other-weekend schedule
- 📞 On call: 2 weekends every 6 weeks
- 🎉 Holiday rotations may apply
💼 What You’ll Do
As a MinuteClinic Nurse Practitioner, you will:
- 🩺 Provide primary and family care, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and health management.
- ❤️ Deliver compassionate, evidence-based patient care.
- 🔬 Perform routine examinations, health screenings, and diagnostic testing.
- 💡 Educate patients about healthy lifestyle choices and preventive care.
- 📋 Manage chronic health conditions and support positive patient outcomes.
- 🤝 Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive care plans.
- 🌱 Encourage patients to take an active role in their health and wellness.
- 📞 Follow up with patients and coordinate ongoing care.
- 🏥 Assist with clinic operations, including opening/closing, inventory, insurance verification, and payment collection.
- 💻 Utilize technology and electronic medical systems effectively.
- 🚀 Practice independently while contributing to a collaborative clinical team.
🎓 What We’re Looking For
Qualified candidates must have:
- 🎓 Master’s degree from a Family Nurse Practitioner program
- 📜 Current national board certification
- 🪪 Active NP license in North Carolina
- ⭐ At least 1 year of recent Primary Care, Family Medicine, or Urgent Care experience
- ✅ NP license in good standing with no current or prior disciplinary actions
- 🧠 Knowledge of chronic disease management and quality measures
- 💬 Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- 📋 Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- 💪 Ability to work independently and practice autonomously
- 🔄 Adaptability, flexibility, and strong problem-solving skills
- 🌎 Willingness to obtain additional/multi-state licenses as needed
📑 Required Documentation

- ❤️ BLS certification from AHA or American Red Cross
