📍 Location: San Antonio, TX 78261
💼 Position: Physician Assistant
🏥 Setting: MinuteClinic / Primary Care
⏰ Schedule: Weekend-only or Full-Time
💰 Rate: Competitive hourly rate
🌟 Opportunity Highlights
Weekend-only option available
Full-time option with weekends + 1–2 weekdays
One weekend off per month is acceptable
Additional hours may be available
Potential to float to nearby clinics for full-time providers
Patient-facing outpatient primary care setting
Collaborative clinical care team
Opportunity to practice autonomously while providing evidence-based care
🩺 Responsibilities
Provide primary and family care to patients
Perform assessments, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up
Manage acute and chronic health conditions
Provide preventive care and health counseling
Educate patients on healthy lifestyle choices
Perform routine examinations and diagnostic testing
Coordinate care with other healthcare professionals
Maintain accurate documentation and support clinic operations
📋 Requirements
Completion of an accredited Physician Assistant program
Current national board certification
Active state license to practice as a PA
Minimum 1 year of recent Primary Care experience in family medicine or primary care
BLS certification from AHA or ARC
Strong communication and organizational skills
Ability to practice independently and collaborate with the care team
Willingness to obtain additional state licensure if required
