Premier part-time Primary Care Nurse Practitioner opportunity in Catskill, New York! Join a community-focused outpatient setting providing comprehensive care to adult and geriatric patients while enjoying a flexible weekday schedule built around work-life balance. Choose between 16–20 hours per week or 3 weekdays, with no nights, weekends, or on-call responsibilities.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced NP seeking a flexible outpatient role with meaningful patient care, strong clinical autonomy, and a collaborative healthcare environment. Use your primary care expertise to manage acute and chronic conditions while working alongside physicians, nurses, and multidisciplinary clinical teams.
Job Responsibilities
• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic medical conditions.
• Order, interpret, and document diagnostic tests and studies.
• Prescribe medications and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Educate patients on prevention, wellness, disease management, and treatment plans.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
• Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records.
• Support clinical, regulatory, quality, and patient-safety standards.
Qualifications
• Current DEA registration.
• Active Medicare and Medicaid provider enrollment.
• Must meet New York's 3,600-hour independent practice requirement.
• Primary Care experience required.
• Master's Degree in Nursing (MSN) or DNP.
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and documentation skills.
