A healthcare organization in Connecticut is looking to add a licensed Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) to one of their inpatient behavioral health facilities in Tolland County. In this role, the Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) will oversee medical care and perform physicals for adult psychiatric patients.

About the Opportunity:

  • Shift: Day
  • Schedule: Monday to Friday
  • Hours: 8:30am to 4:30pm
  • Setting: Inpatient Behavioral Health

Responsibilities:

  • Provide medical care for patients in an adult inpatient psychiatric setting
  • Perform physical examinations and routine medical assessments
  • Monitor patient health status and address ongoing medical needs
  • Collaborate with the care team to support coordinated treatment planning
  • Manage a daily patient volume of approximately 10 to 12 patients

Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree

  • Active Connecticut Nurse Practitioner (FNP) license
