Nurse Practitioner (NP) – Primary Care | Weehawken, NJ

Position Overview

We’re seeking a Nurse Practitioner (NP) to support a busy employee health & wellness primary care clinic within a corporate environment. This role focuses on delivering comprehensive, patient-centered care in an outpatient setting.

You’ll work alongside dedicated clinical support staff in a low-volume, highly collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide primary care services including diagnosis and treatment of:
  • Acute conditions (e.g., colds, flu, UTI, STI)
  • Chronic conditions (e.g., hypertension, diabetes)
• Conduct physical exams, screenings, and assessments
• Perform women’s health services, including:
  • Well-woman exams
  • Pap smears
  • Annual exams
• Deliver travel medicine consultations
• Perform minor procedures and in-office testing:
  • COVID (rapid/PCR), flu, strep, mono
  • Urinalysis, HCG testing, phlebotomy
  • Wound care, splinter removal, cerumen removal, eye care
• Administer vaccinations
• Educate patients on treatment plans and preventive care

Clinic Details

• Setting: Outpatient corporate health clinic
• Patient Volume: ~10 patients/day
• Support Staff: Full-time Medical Assistant onsite
• Charting System: EPIC

Requirements

• Active Nurse Practitioner license (NJ)
• Board Certification (AANP, ANCC, or equivalent)
• DEA license
• BLS certification (AHA preferred)
• Minimum 1 year of autonomous NP experience in primary care
• Women’s Health experience REQUIRED (must be comfortable with pap smears & exams)
• EPIC proficiency preferred
• Must meet all federal, state, and local compliance requirements

• No on-call responsibilities
