Bergen County, New Jersey, Internal Medicine Nurse Practitioner Job

Clinical Role:

• Seeking a board certified or truly board eligible nurse practitioner
• Must have at least 1 year of post-training primary care or urgent care experience
• Client is open to family or adult nurse practitioners
• Outpatient-only setting
• See 20–30 patients per day (in-person and virtual)
• Schedule: Monday–Thursday 9a–6p, Friday 9a–3p (40-hour work week)
• Work alongside an internal medicine physician with full support staff, including a dedicated MA
• Responsibilities include patient assessments, diagnosis, treatment planning, ordering tests, prescribing medications, and building patient relationships
• Must be comfortable working independently
• EMR: Practice Fusion
• Spanish bilingual preferred, not required

Required Certifications:

• Active DEA
• ACLS and BLS (or willingness to obtain)

Compensation & Benefits:

• Base salary: $140,000
• Uncapped bonus structure based on quarterly collections
• No benefits for first 6 months; eligible for health insurance and 401k after
• Paid time off
• 30–45 minute daily lunch break
