This organization is a government contractor specializing in veteran healthcare services, providing compensation and pension examinations for our nation's Veterans. The facility offers flexible scheduling options and streamlined credentialing processes to support healthcare providers.
Opportunity:
Nurse Practitioner - General Medicine
Job Details:
• Perform Compensation and Pension exams and Separation Health Assessments for Veterans
• Conduct one-time non-treatment examinations that are primarily interview-based
• Perform physical assessments including range of motion testing and muscle strength testing
• Complete METs testing, evaluating and diagnosing respiratory and cardiovascular conditions
• Work on a PRN basis with ongoing opportunities
• Option to work half days (4 hours) and/or full days (8 hours)
• No prescribing or treatment required - examination-based role only
• Must own a laptop (no Mac/Apple products)
• Current opening in Lake City, FL requiring 2 days per week within 10-mile radius
• Provider must have their own office within 50 miles of listed city
• Must be willing to complete DMA training to become DMA certified
• Active and unrestricted full license required
• AANP certification required
• Follow-up administrative work required including addendums and medical opinions
• Quick credentialing and onboarding process
• Weekend coverage available but not required
Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
