Facility:
This government contracting organization specializes in providing comprehensive veterans' evaluation services as part of a larger healthcare services company. The facility focuses on supporting our nation's veterans through professional medical assessments and compensation evaluations in a supportive, non-treatment environment.

Opportunity:
Nurse Practitioner - General Medicine

Job Details:
• Perform Compensation & Pension exams and Separation Health Assessments for Veterans
• Work on a PRN basis with ongoing opportunities
• Choose between half-day (4-hour) and/or full-day (8-hour) shifts
• Conduct one-time non-treatment CP exams primarily interview-based with some physical assessment
• Perform range of motion testing and muscle strength testing
• No prescribing or treatment responsibilities required
• Two coverage options available: per diem at facility or provider's own office
• Current openings in Lawton, OK (1 day per week) and Stillwater, OK (1 day per week)
• Must be within 50-mile radius of listed locations
• Quick credentialing and onboarding process
• Follow-up administrative work required including addendums and medical opinions
• Must be proficient in METs testing and evaluating respiratory/cardiovascular conditions
• Must own a laptop (no Mac/Apple products)
• Active AANP certification and unrestricted Oklahoma license required
• Must complete DMA training to become certified
• Weekend availability preferred if desired/needed
• Board certification required

Compensation:
Competitive flat rates with half-day rate of $600 for 4-hour shifts and daily rate of $1,200 for shifts 5 hours or longer, plus one-time bonus of $650 for completing required training and first exam.
