Job description
The Center for Medically Fragile Children at Providence Child Center is seeking a Per Diem, board-certified nurse practitioner or pediatric nurse practitioner to join a collaborative, interdisciplinary team serving children with disabilities in Oregon. This role involves co-managing the care of medically fragile children alongside therapists, pediatric development specialists, and physicians. The Center is the only pediatric skilled-nursing facility in the Pacific Northwest, offering a meaningful practice environment with an excellent work-life balance in the scenic Portland area.
- Per Diem role
- Open to nurse practitioners and pediatric nurse practitioners
- Strong internal and external referral base from primary care practices and associated subspecialties
- 1 year of post-graduate clinical experience in a primary care or pediatrics setting preferred
- Provide consultation to nursing team, in-basket management, and collaborate with care team for patients ranging from infancy to 21 years of age
