Job Title :- Nurse Practitioner
Location :- Columbus, OH 43223
Contract :- 6+ Months with possible extension
Job Description :
• Examine, diagnose, and treat acute and chronic medical conditions within scope of practice.
• Monitor and manage chronic illnesses using established policies and clinical protocols.
• Perform routine physical exams and provide emergency medical care as needed.
• Prescribe medications, administer treatments and immunizations, and perform minor procedures as competency allows.
• Order and interpret laboratory, radiology, and other diagnostic tests.
• Evaluate and coordinate specialty referrals; review consultation reports and implement recommendations as appropriate.
• Conduct infirmary rounds and document assessments, treatment plans, and follow-up care per regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with the Chief Medical Officer on medical reclassification, non-formulary medication requests, and quality oversight initiatives.
Required Qualifications
• Active Ohio NP License
• BLS/CPR
• Minimum of one (1) year Nurse Practitioner experience in primary care.
