Job description
This is a full-time, permanent opportunity focused on the evaluation and management of patients with pulmonary disorders and sleep-related conditions. The APP will collaborate closely with pulmonologists, sleep specialists, and respiratory therapy teams to deliver high-quality, evidence-based care. Prior pulmonary or sleep medicine experience is preferred; strong clinical backgrounds will be considered.

Essential Responsibilities
Evaluate and manage patients with pulmonary conditions such as COPD, asthma, interstitial lung disease, and chronic respiratory failure
Assess and manage sleep disorders including obstructive sleep apnea, insomnia, and related conditions
Conduct outpatient visits, follow-ups, and care plan adjustments
Order and interpret diagnostic studies including PFTs, sleep studies, imaging, and laboratory tests
Collaborate with pulmonologists, sleep physicians, and respiratory therapists
Provide patient education on CPAP/BiPAP therapy, inhaler use, and lifestyle modifications
Document clinical encounters accurately and timely within the EMR
Participate in quality improvement and evidence-based practice initiatives
Qualifications
Education: Master’s or Doctoral degree in Nursing from an accredited program
Licensure: Active Washington State APRN license (or eligibility)
Certification: Board Certified as FNP, Adult/Gerontology NP, or Acute Care NP
Experience: Pulmonary, sleep medicine, or hospital-based experience preferred
Skills: Strong clinical assessment and patient management skills
Compensation
Salary is open to discussion and commensurate with experience
