About the Role
We’re seeking a dedicated Family Medicine Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to support an outpatient primary care clinic in northeastern South Dakota. The provider will care for patients across the lifespan and manage a mix of primary care and minor urgent care needs in a supportive community-based setting.
Job Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive primary care, routine follow-ups, and wellness visits
- Manage minor acute illnesses and perform basic urgent care procedures
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and ancillary staff to support high-quality patient care
Qualifications
- Any active, unrestricted U.S. state license accepted
- Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills
- Ability to work independently in a rural clinic environment
Working Hours
- Weekdays: 8–10-hour shifts
- Weekends: 1 PM–5 PM
- Patient volume: Approximately 16 patients per day
- Supportive and collaborative clinical setting
