Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Duration: 26 weeks (up to 40 hours per week)
Pay: $115/hour (negotiable, based on experience)
Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Primary Care Nurse Practitioner to provide quality healthcare services across two correctional facilities. The NP will split their schedule between both sites (3 days at WSPF and 2 days at PDCI) and play a key role in delivering compassionate, comprehensive patient care in collaboration with the onsite medical team.
Qualifications:

Qualifications:
- Active and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in the state of practice.
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a primary care setting required.
- Current BLS certification.
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to adapt to varying patient volumes and facility operations.
- Prior correctional or institutional healthcare experience a plus.
Job Responsibilities
-Evaluate, diagnose, and treat acute and chronic medical conditions.
-Manage an average caseload of 10–12 patients per day (subject to facility needs).
-Perform minor procedures as appropriate (preferred but not required).
-Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other staff to ensure continuity and quality of care.
-Maintain timely and accurate medical documentation in accordance with facility and state guidelines.
