Job description

Job description The Nurse Practitioner (NP) provides comprehensive primary care services to patients of all ages at our Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC). The NP practices independently and in collaboration with physicians and other healthcare providers to deliver evidence-based, culturally competent, and patient-centered care. This role emphasizes prevention, chronic disease management, and health education in a community-based setting, often serving medically underserved populations.

Qualifications

Education: Master’s or Doctorate degree in Nursing from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.

Licensure/Certification:

Current and unrestricted NP license in Georgia

National board certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or Adult-Gerontology NP

DEA registration and state prescriptive authority

BLS/CPR certification (ACLS preferred)

Experience:

Minimum of 1–2 years of experience in a primary care or community health setting preferred.

Experience working with underserved or vulnerable populations is a plus.

Working Hours

Monday - Friday
8am - 5pm
