The final titles will depend on the qualifications of the final candidates.</i></span></p><p><span style="font-family:Tahoma, Geneva, sans-serif;">The School of Medicine is excited to announce an opening for a Nurse Practitioner in the Hospitalist Division of the Department of Medicine. We are seeking a dedicated and skilled professional to join our patient-centered care team.</span></p><p><span style="font-family:Tahoma, Geneva, sans-serif;">Key Responsibilities:</span></p><p><span style="font-family:Tahoma, Geneva, sans-serif;">• Provide independent medical support services on inpatient floors, collaborating with physicians and hospital staff to promote team-based care.</span><br><span style="font-family:Tahoma, Geneva, sans-serif;">• Conduct comprehensive health assessments, demonstrating autonomy and expertise in diagnosing and treating health issues.</span><br><span style="font-family:Tahoma, Geneva, sans-serif;">• Order and perform diagnostic procedures; monitor patient conditions, lab values, and diagnostic results to develop effective treatment goals.</span><br><span style="font-family:Tahoma, Geneva, sans-serif;">• Collaborate with MDs on complex cases as outlined in the collaborative agreement.</span><br><span style="font-family:Tahoma, Geneva, sans-serif;">• Serve as a resource for patients, families, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals in your area of expertise.</span><br><span style="font-family:Tahoma, Geneva, sans-serif;">• Obtain and document thorough histories and physical exams, effectively communicating relevant medical information to surgeons and physicians.</span><br><span style="font-family:Tahoma, Geneva, sans-serif;">• Identify trends in patient care and participate in quality improvement initiatives.</span><br><span style="font-family:Tahoma, Geneva, sans-serif;">• Assist in developing and implementing standards for structure, process, and outcomes.</span><br><span style="font-family:Tahoma, Geneva, sans-serif;">• Perform additional duties as assigned.</span><br><span style="font-family:Tahoma, Geneva, sans-serif;"> </span></p></span>
