Family Nurse Practitioner – Primary Care

This community health center provides comprehensive primary care services to local residents. The team is dedicated to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in a collaborative and supportive environment that fosters professional growth and development.

Position Details:

• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm

• Patient Encounters: Minimum of 18 per shift

• Patient Mix: Pediatric and adult populations

• Charting: Closure required within 72 hours

• Credentialing timeframe: 45–90 days

• Nearest airport: ACV – Arcata

• Housing consultation available through Open Door

Requirements:

• Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner (Primary Care/Family Medicine)

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar setting

• California NP license

• Furnishing License with Schedules II

• Active DEA required before start date

• Current BLS certification

• Required immunizations: flu vaccine, TB test/X-ray results, positive titers or complete series for MMR, Hep B, Varicella Zoster, plus Tdap within last 10 years

• CV must include month/year on work history with all gaps explained

• 30-day notice required for ending assignments

Compensation:

• Estimated hourly rate: $85 – $100

• Weekly pay

• Malpractice coverage included
