Facility:
This position is with a government contractor helping our nation's Veterans through conducting Compensation & Pension exams and Separation Health Assessments. The work may be performed at the provider's own office location or at specific locations in Uvalde, TX and Ft. Davis, TX.

AANP - General Medicine

Job Details:
• Perform Compensation & Pension exams and Separation Health Assessments for Veterans • PRN basis, ongoing need with flexible scheduling • Option to work half days (4-hours) and/or full days (8-hours) • One-time non-treatment CP exams and separation health assessments • Exams are primarily interview-based with some physical assessment including range of motion testing and muscle strength testing • No prescribing or treatment involved • Quick credentialing and onboarding process • Specialties accepted include family medicine, internal medicine, orthopedic surgery, or anyone with background in general medicine or experience with compensation and pension • Locations include provider's own office, Uvalde, TX (1 day per week needed), and Ft. Davis, TX (1 day per week needed) • Must be proficient in METs testing, evaluating and diagnosing respiratory and cardiovascular conditions • Must own a laptop (no Mac/Apple products) • Must have active and unrestricted full license • Must be willing to complete DMA training to become DMA certified • Follow-up administrative work required on a regular basis (addendums, medical opinions, and reading diagnostics) • Local candidates only, travel included in rates • Cannot be active military duty, in the reserves, or actively employed at the VA

Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.

Estimated Hourly Rate: $85 - $100
