This facility operates as part of Veterans Evaluation Services (VES), a government contractor dedicated to helping our nation's Veterans. The organization provides critical medical evaluations and assessments that support Veterans' compensation and pension claims across the country.

Job Details:
• Perform Compensation & Pension exams and Separation Health Assessments for Veterans • PRN basis with ongoing needs in Pierre, SD (1 day per week needed) • Option to work half days (4-hours) and/or full days (8-hours) • Conduct one-time non-treatment CP exams and separation health assessments • Exams are primarily interview-based with some physical assessment including range of motion testing and muscle strength testing • No prescribing or treatment required • Quick credentialing and onboarding process • Suitable for providers with backgrounds in family medicine, internal medicine, orthopedic surgery, general medicine, or experience with compensation and pension • Must be proficient in METs testing, evaluating and diagnosing respiratory and cardiovascular conditions • Own a laptop (no Mac/Apple products allowed) • Must have active and unrestricted full license • Complete DMA training to become DMA certified • Local candidates only (travel included in rates) • Regular follow-up administrative work required (addendums, medical opinions, reading diagnostics) • Must not be active military duty, in the reserves, or actively employed at the VA

Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.

Estimated Hourly Rate: $85 - $100
