Credentialing Timeframe: 1-2 weeks

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 8AM - 4:30 PM. Call every night for emergencies, including on Saturday and Sunday. Lunch is 12-1

Patient Volume: 1-2 patients/day in one of the sites; maybe 3-4 in others or maybe as high as 6. Need to be available on call for emergencies.

Procedures: All ages. Each location still has a variety of ages, while some have a much larger pediatric population. The attached document above (Village Clinic overview) highlights their villages including these numbers. They have emergency equipment (IV capabilities, vital sign machines), but most emergent patients are stabilized before being sent to Kodiak for emergency care.
Low volume clinics, but must treat any case that comes in, anything major is flown out to Kodiak.

EMR: Cerner

Licensure Needed: AK License

Certifications Needed: BC or BE with proof of eligibility.

Relevant Experience/Skill Set Needed: Family Medicine background with Urgent Care or Emergency Medicine experience.

Additional Info: Need to have a provider who is very comfortable being solo and in rural settings.
