A busy family practice clinic in Ephrata, Washington is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nurse Practitioner to provide comprehensive primary care to patients of all ages. This role offers an opportunity to practice in a supportive, collaborative environment within a tight-knit rural community.
This position requires a minimum of four years of experience to meet eligibility requirements for practice in Grant County.
Job Responsibilities
The Nurse Practitioner will deliver a wide range of outpatient services, including health assessments, diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic conditions, patient education, preventive care, and coordination of care with other healthcare providers. The role involves active participation in patient-centered care planning and health promotion.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct patient care for acute and chronic conditions
Conduct physical exams, order and interpret diagnostic tests
Develop and manage treatment plans and prescribe medications
Educate patients and families on health maintenance and disease prevention
Maintain accurate, timely, and thorough documentation in the electronic medical record
Participate in clinical decision-making and policy development
Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare staff to ensure comprehensive care
Support community and clinic-based wellness initiatives
Qualifications
Required:
Active Registered Nurse and ARNP licensure with prescriptive authority in the state of Washington by start date
Basic Life Support (CPR) certification
Preferred:
Experience in family medicine or primary care
