Position Type: Full-Time, Temporary
Assignment Dates: October 7, 2024 – March 31, 2025
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Family Nurse Practitioner to join our team on a full-time basis. This role will involve overseeing medical exams and conducting physicals within our 56-bed unit. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a supportive and collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct medical exams and physicals for patients in the unit.
- Provide comprehensive patient care, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment.
- Manage a caseload of 10-12 patients per day.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care.
- Document patient interactions and maintain accurate medical records.
- Provide health education and counseling to patients and their families.
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- No on-call duties
Requirements:
- Valid and current Nurse Practitioner certification.
- Experience in family practice and performing physical exams.
- Behavioral health experience preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
