At St. Luke’s, our dedicated team of Advanced Practice Providers strive to build a positive, supportive, and inclusive culture that delivers exceptional patient experiences. The Palliative Care team provides coverage in the Boise, Meridian, and Nampa, Idaho hospitals and has two clinics in Boise and Meridian. The selected individual will be working with a team of 6 Physicians and 5 APPs:Assisting patients and their families through any stage of serious illness or health problemDiscussing treatment choicesAssist with decision-makingManaging their illness at home to avoid hospitalizationWork both in the hospital and in the clinic to provide care and servicesWhat to Expect:Shifts can either be set at 4/10s or 5/8s with minimal call coverage1 year inpatient experience preferred Performance Incentives Malpractice insurance as well as malpractice tail coverage$3,500 Professional Development Fund5 CME days are included to complete education aside from accrued PTOQualifications:Minimum of 3 years experience is requiredExperience with hospice or palliative care preferredEducation: Graduate education from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program or qualifying education as designated by the Idaho Board of Nursing.Licenses/Certifications: License and certification, as required by the specialty, or be eligible to obtain licensure from Idaho Board of Nursing to practice as a Nurse Practitioner. Must obtain and maintain unrestricted prescriptive authority, DEA, and controlled substance licenses.
