IU Health Ball Physicians has an opportunity for an internal Acute Geriatric Nurse Practitioner, Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to help lead our established and knowledgeable Primary Care team at our IU Health Blackford, Upland, and Portland Primary Care offices!

This position is open to internal providers within IU Health who are looking to take that next step in their career.

Opportunity Details

  • Full Time, Day Shift
  • 36 hours/week clinical time & 4 hours/week team lead responsibilities
  • No Call
  • No weekends or nights
  • Join a team of 8 Physicians and 12 APPs
  • 100% outpatient

Key responsibilities

  • Will be expected to commute to all 3 practice locations (Blackford PC, Upland PC, and Jay PC)
  • Expected patient volume close to 50-60/week
  • Under the supervision of the Service Line leadership, assists with planning and directing the operational activities of Service Line operated by the organization. Oversees to the organization policies and proper communication to and involvement of subordinate personnel. Plans, organizes and directs daily operations to include staffing, practice growth and improvement, and customer service.

Qualifications

  • Master's Degree required
  • Must be AGNP, ANP, FNP or PA Board Certified
  • Must be an internal provider currently practicing within the IU Health System
  • Must have at least 1 year of APP experience
