- Provide emergency medicine evaluation and treatment for patients of all ages.
- Deliver onsite coverage in the Emergency Department during scheduled shifts.
- Evaluate, diagnose, and manage acute medical conditions.
- Coordinate patient care with Emergency Department physicians and registered nurses.
- Manage both inpatient and outpatient emergency medicine needs.
- Complete clinical documentation using the Meditech electronic medical record.
- Participate in patient admissions, averaging approximately three admissions per shift.
Required
- Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant qualification for Emergency Medicine.
- Board Certified or Board Eligible status.
- Ability to treat patients of all ages.
- Availability for scheduled 12:00 PM–10:00 PM Emergency Department shifts.
- Ability to complete onsite orientation one day before the first scheduled shift.
Preferred
- Experience working in a busy Emergency Department environment.
- Familiarity with Meditech.
