Description:
Noor Locums is seeking an experienced Emergency Medicine Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for a locum tenens opportunity in Michigan.
This assignment offers 12 PM–10 PM shifts, with coverage needed across December 2026 through March 2027. Providers must be comfortable treating patients of all ages and working in a busy emergency department environment.

Coverage: Multiple dates available, with potential for additional dates

Trauma Level: III

Average Department Volume: Approximately 36 patients per day

Average Admissions: 3 per day

Travel and lodging assistance available
Job Responsibilities
Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients in the emergency department
Manage patient admissions as needed
Document patient encounters using Meditech
Collaborate with emergency physicians and nursing staff
Participate in scheduled onsite coverage
Qualifications
Active Michigan license or IMLC eligibility accepted
Board certified or board eligible in the applicable specialty
BLS certification required
Emergency department experience required
Must be able to treat patients of all ages
Hospital privileges required
DEA requirements to be confirmed
Working Hours
Department operates seven days per week
Onsite orientation required one day before the first scheduled shift
Coverage dates:
December 28–31, 2026
January 1–5, 11–17, and 25–31, 2027
February 1–28, 2027
March 1–31, 2027
