Nurse Practitioner - Emergency
Location: TN
Schedule: 12 hours daily APP coverage needed; flexible scheduling based on department needs
Position Overview
Provide emergency department coverage in a collaborative, physician-led practice within a community hospital setting.
Key Responsibilities
Provide emergency department coverage alongside 24-hour physician coverage
Document patient encounters and care using Epic
Maintain required credentialing, privileging, and immunization compliance
Required Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
Active Tennessee licensure and required board certification for the role (NP or PA)
Active DEA registration with a Tennessee address
Active ACLS and PALS certifications
Case logs from the previous two years required
Candidates must have at least two years of clinical experience within the past five years to qualify.
Credentialing / Onboarding Items
MMR and Varicella vaccination documentation or positive immunity titers
TB testing completed within the past 12 months (QuantiFERON Gold accepted)
