Work in a fast-paced emergency department at a Level 1 trauma center in Sumter, South Carolina. Enjoy a true work-life balance with a 7-on/7-off schedule — just two weeks a month!
The Role
- Provide emergency care in a well-equipped, typical ER department alongside physicians, NPs, and PAs
- Patient mix: 85% adults, 10% pediatrics, 5% trauma
- Level 1 trauma center emergency medicine equipment
- Epic EMR
Schedule
- 7 days on / 7 days off (2 weeks per month)
- 12-hour shifts, approximately 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
Requirements
- Board Certified in Emergency Medicine
- Active South Carolina license (licensing candidates cannot be considered)
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS required
- DEA required
- Minimum 2 years of experience
- Clean background; name clear required (name and NPI)
- Credentialing: 90–120 days with an active SC license (longer without)
