JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Board: BC in Nurse Practitioner (AANP or ANCC)
  
• Licenses: Active AR NP license, AR DEA/CDS, Prescriptive authority
  
• DEA / CDS: Active Arkansas DEA/CDS required
  
• Certifications: ACLS, PALS, ATLS required
  
• Experience: Prior EM experience required; case logs required
  
• Other Qualifications: 2 years of case logs, CME/CEU documentation, supervising physician assignment, immunization compliance
  

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide comprehensive emergency medical care to patients presenting to the ED.
  
• Perform emergency procedures as needed (e.g., suturing, splinting, etc.).
  
• Collaborate with supervising physicians and multidisciplinary team for patient management.
  
• Document patient encounters accurately in Epic EMR.
  
• Participate in observation unit protocols and patient discharge planning.
