- Transfers out: Inpatient Pediatrics, Neurosurgery, Plastic Surgery, Thoracic Surgery, Ophthalmology, Dermatology, Vascular Surgery

- 8-10 hour Physician shifts
- 8-12 hour APP shifts
- EMR: Epic
- 6-10% of the ED population is pediatrics
- 15-22% admission rate (combined true hospital admits and observation admits)
- USACS Hospitalists admit 80% of the admitted patients in the hospital
- Two Sonosite machines in ED
- GlideScope with pediatric/adult blades and flexible fiberoptic scope attachment
- Ultrasound-guided IVs and splints done by RNs and techs
