Emergency Department
ED Volume: 19,000
- Trauma Designation: Level III with integrated diagnostics
- ED Beds: 31 treatment rooms, fast-track area
- ED Admission Rate: 25%
- High acuity patients
- APC coverage, all certified in ATLS
- Radiology services, Point of Care Ultrasound, video laryngoscope, fiberoptic bronchoscope
- M-modal voice recognition used for charting
- Emergency Physicians do not write admitting orders
- ACLS-certified nursing staff
