Job description
Berkshire Health Systems is looking for an Emergency Medicine Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner with a minimum of 2 years experience to help with coverage from July 1st, 2026 - August 31st, 2026. Rental Car or Mileage and Hotel is covered.
Job Responsibilities
Supervision Physician present during assignment.
NP/PA will not be expected to respond to house codes (physician only)
ED Staff respond to house codes.
EKG Interpretations performed by provider.
ED responsible for monitoring/supervising paramedics via radio.
Deliveries go directly to Labor & Delivery.
Qualifications
ACLS
Must have 2 years of experience in Emergency Room (No new grads)
Active Massachusetts state license
NPBD Self-Query within 1 month required at time of presentation.
Working Hours
- 9:00AM - 7:00PM
- 9:00AM - 9:00PM
- 3:00PM - 11:00PM
