Join a supportive, mission-driven Emergency Medicine team at Davis Medical Center in Beckley, WV.
We are seeking experienced Emergency Medicine APPs to join our growing team. Candidates must be comfortable working in a fast-paced ED with a collaborative team of physicians and advanced practice providers.
Facility Snapshot
- ED Volume: 18,000 annual visits
- ED Beds: 22
- Trauma Designation: Level IV
- EMR: Meditech with DAX AI
- APP Shifts: 12 hours
- Model: Team-based coverage - 24 hours of physician coverage and 12 hours of APP coverage daily
Job Responsibilities
• Collaborate with physicians in a team-based emergency department model.
• Participate in patient admissions and discharges.
• Utilize Meditech EMR to document and manage patient care.
• Serve the medical needs of a rural, underserved population with compassion and clinical excellence.
Qualifications
Minimum of 1 year Emergency Medicine experience preferred
Comfortable managing a variety of acuity levels

• Team-oriented approach and effective communication with Physicians and hospital staff.
• Comfort working in a rural emergency setting with a diverse patient population.
• Proficiency in using electronic medical records (EMR), specifically Meditech.
