Facility:
This medical center features a Level 3 Emergency Department with 50 beds and an annual volume of approximately 40,150 patients. The facility utilizes Cerner EMR and includes a dedicated 10-bed fast track area called "VUE" within the emergency department, with comprehensive support services including 24-hour radiology, laboratory, and surgical specialties.
Opportunity:
NP/PA - Emergency Medicine
Job Details:
• Work independently in the fast track "VUE" area (10 beds) within the emergency department • Shift coverage needed for various dates in January and February 2026, primarily 11:00-23:00 and 08:00-20:00 shifts • Attending physicians available 24 hours/day for case review, evaluation, guidance or questions • Handle approximately 110 patients per day (divided among providers) • Work in a team environment with emergency medicine residents (approximately two shifts daily at varied times) • No supervision requirements for resident cases • 60% of hospital admissions received from the ED with 20% of ED patients admitted to hospital • Must be Board Certified NP/PA with Michigan license • Must maintain ACLS and ATLS certifications • Must have 2 years of recent ED experience • Must have clean background for quick credentialing • Candidates must be local - no exceptions • Valid DEA required • Immunization records required (Hep B, MMR, Varicella, Flu, Covid, TB, TDAP)
Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
