Medicus is partnering with a hospital in central New York, offering a long-term opportunity for a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to support a dedicated Emergency Medicine team.
Opportunity Highlights:
- Flexible Scheduling: 5-10 shifts per month, 7p-7a, no call shifts
- Daily Census: 8-21 patients
- Annual Volume: 10,000 patients
- 8 ED beds
- Procedures: Resuscitation, intubation (including surgical airways), ventilator management, pressor agents, sedation, and interpreting blood gases
- Will work independently on the ER and HM floors
- Support Staff: 2 RNs, LPN, respiratory therapist, supervising RN
- EMR: MedHost
- Board certification required
- Paid travel & lodging provided
