Advanced Practitioners - Critical CareJob Details:
- Join a collaborative, seasoned critical care team in an inpatient intensivist setting
- Diagnose, treat, and manage acute and chronic diseases for a complex patient population
- Perform procedures and order and interpret diagnostic tests
- Communicate with patients and families regarding their conditions and care plans
- Collaborate effectively with a variety of consultants and care team members
- Conduct routine physical examinations and formulate medical, educational, and psychosocial treatment plans
- Develop plans for further evaluation of health needs, including referrals to specialists as appropriate
- Identify problems outside of scope of practice and refer appropriately to physician
- Full-time, night shift schedule with premium differentials offered
- No call required
- Must hold or be eligible for an unrestricted State of Connecticut Medical License
- Physician Assistant or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner training required
- Minimum 1+ years of advanced practice experience in a critical care setting required
