Bon Secours Maryview Medical Center is actively seeking an experienced Locum Nurse Practitioner with ICU/Critical Care experience to support Pulmonary Services during the credentialing of new providers. This is a high-priority, ongoing opportunity with flexible scheduling and consistent monthly needs.

📅 DATES NEEDED – ACT FAST!

⚡ June – DAY SHIFTS

• 1, 2, 11, 18, 20, 21, 24, 25, 29, 30

⚡ July

Day Shifts:

• 1, 6, 9, 11, 12, 16–22, 24, 27

🌙 Night Shifts:

• 24–27

⚡ August (Flexible Buy-In)

• August 13–17, 20–24
• Days or nights TBD closer to dates

🔁 Ongoing – August & Beyond

• Shifts TBD
• Will work around locum availability as much as possible
• Minimum commitment: at least one coverage stint per month

🏥 Practice Details

• Setting: Inpatient ICU / Critical Care
• Patient Population: Adult
• Average Census: ~13 patients/day (range 1–20)
• APP Role: Working autonomously

👩‍⚕️ Key Responsibilities

🫁 Vent management (with RT support)
🚑 Monitoring and managing critically ill patients
⚠️ Assisting with decompensating patients (including overnight)
📥 Admitting ICU patients from:

• ED
• Hospital floors
• Surrounding hospitals

🧠 Communicating with families and discussing goals of care

🛠️ Procedures Required (MUST BE COMFORTABLE)

✅ Central Venous Lines (CVLs)
✅ Arterial lines
✅ Hemodialysis catheters

💻 Technology

• EMR: EPIC

⏱️ Credentialing

• FAST turnaround: ~2–4 weeks
