Full-Time Nurse Practitioner/ Physician Assistant positions available for onsite in Broward County

Job Summary

The Nurse Practitioner/ Physician Assistant functions within their scope of practice as a healthcare provider working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care to patients and families. They demonstrate a high degree of clinical expertise in working with patients with acute and chronic illnesses.

Job Responsibilities

• Supervise the care of critically ill patients.
• Performs comprehensive history and physical assessments of patients that are thorough, complete, concise, relevant, and appropriate for age, gender and tailored to the patient’s clinical condition.
• Manages general medical and surgical conditions based on knowledge of the indications, contraindications, side effects, interactions and adverse reactions of pharmacologic agents and other relevant treatment modalities
• Facilitates consistent, coordinated care and clear communication among all members of the healthcare team.
• Maintains accurate, complete, concise, and timely documentation in the electronic medical record

Qualifications

• Nurse Practitioner require Master’s or Doctorate’s degree from an accredited nursing program
• Physician Assistant requires Bachelors or Master’s degree from accredited PA program
• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• 2 years or more of Nurse Practitioner experience preferred
• Board Certified in Acute Care
• Active State license and DEA

Working Hours

This position can be both part-time to full-time. Hours are flexible and work in conjunction with the clinician's availability and the needs of the organization.

• Fast-paced environment with occasional high pressure or emergent situations.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively and to develop strong working relationships with clinical and administrative teams.
