About the Role
We’re seeking a board-certified Critical Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide locum tenens coverage at a hospital in east-central Texas. This opportunity offers structured night coverage in an ICU setting with a manageable patient census and strong clinical support.
Job Responsibilities
- Perform required ICU procedures
- Monitor and manage acutely ill patients during night shifts
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary care team
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in Epic
Qualifications
- Board-certified in Critical Care (or relevant specialty)
- Comfortable performing ICU procedures
- Strong clinical judgment and teamwork skills
Working Hours
- One week at a time (7 consecutive nights)
- Target start date: March 1, 2026
