About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Critical Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide ICU coverage at a hospital in Southeastern Tennessee. This locum opportunity offers 12-hour shifts with a manageable census and strong physician support in a high-acuity critical care setting.
Job Responsibilities
- Perform required procedures including:
Endotracheal intubations
Central line placements
Arterial line placements
- Collaborate closely with the on-call MD and fellow APPs
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
Qualifications
- Board Certified – Required
- Prior ICU or Critical Care experience strongly preferred
- Strong procedural and decision-making skills
Working Hours
- Day and night coverage
- Average daily census: 12 patients
Skills
- Hourly Rate: Up to $100/hr
- Paid travel & expenses
- Assignment start fee available
- Full credentialing and onboarding support provided
