Role Scope
Under established guidelines and in collaboration/supervision with the practice physician(s), the Advanced Practitioner will:
- Perform routine physical examinations and formulate medical, educational, and psychosocial treatment plans
- Collaborate with the care team to develop plans for further evaluation, including referrals to specialists as needed
- Provide appropriate treatment within scope of practice per protocol, referring out-of-scope issues to the supervising physician

Qualifications
- Unrestricted State of Connecticut Medical License (or license-eligible)
- Certified or board-eligible Physician Assistant, or Nurse Practitioner (Acute Care-certified)
- 1+ years of Advanced Practice experience in a hospitalist or similar setting
