Join a close-knit, collaborative Advanced Practice team delivering high-quality inpatient care in a growing hospitalist program. This role offers the opportunity to practice in a smaller, community-focused setting while maintaining a wide clinical scope, strong autonomy, and room for professional growth.

Role Scope
Under established guidelines and in collaboration/supervision with the practice physician(s), the Advanced Practitioner will:

  • Perform routine physical examinations and formulate medical, educational, and psychosocial treatment plans
  • Collaborate with the care team to develop plans for further evaluation, including referrals to specialists as needed
  • Provide appropriate treatment within scope of practice per protocol, referring out-of-scope issues to the supervising physician

Qualifications

  • Unrestricted State of Connecticut Medical License (or license-eligible)
  • Certified or board-eligible Physician Assistant, or Nurse Practitioner (Acute Care-certified)
  • 1+ years of Advanced Practice experience in a hospitalist or similar setting
