We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner to join a growing cardiovascular practice in southeastern New Mexico, offering hands-on experience, advanced procedural exposure, and the opportunity to develop a comprehensive cardiovascular skill set.
This is an opportunity for an NP who enjoys patient care but also wants to expand their knowledge of cardiovascular diagnostics, interventional procedures, and specialized cardiac and vascular medicine.
The practice offers a collaborative, physician-led environment with opportunities for continued professional development and increasing clinical autonomy.
What Makes This Opportunity Different?
- Four-day workweek with no nights or weekends.
- Hands-on cardiovascular training alongside physician leadership.
- Primary clinic and ambulatory surgery center in Carlsbad.
- Regional coverage across Carlsbad, Artesia, Hobbs, and Roswell.
- Approximately 25–30 scheduled patients daily.
- Exposure to advanced cardiovascular diagnostics and procedures.
- Opportunity to develop increasing clinical autonomy.
- Athena EMR and modern cardiovascular diagnostic equipment.
Regional Travel: The Nurse Practitioner will be expected to travel between the practice's clinic locations as needed. Candidates should be comfortable providing care across multiple southeastern New Mexico communities rather than working exclusively at one clinic.
Clinical & Procedural Opportunities
The selected Nurse Practitioner will have opportunities to expand their cardiovascular knowledge through exposure to:
- Loop recorder procedures
- Cardioversions
- Venous closures
- Cardiac ablations
- Stress testing
- Vascular studies
- Echocardiography and Doppler imaging
- Angioplasty and catheter-directed thrombolysis
- Varicose vein treatment
This is a strong opportunity for an NP who wants to develop specialized cardiovascular skills while working in a busy, physician-led practice.
Compensation & Benefits
Starting Base Salary: $130,000
The financial package includes:
- Sign-On Bonus: $5,000+
- Relocation Assistance: $5,000 in-state / $7,500 out-of-state with receipts
