Job description
We are seeking a full time Cardiology Nurse Practitioner to join an established, high volume cardiology practice serving the East Valley of Arizona.
Working alongside an experienced provider team, the Nurse Practitioner will be responsible for the evaluation and ongoing treatment of patients with cardiovascular diseases in both clinic and hospital settings.
The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of cardiovascular disease assessment and management and the ability to diagnose and manage patients with minimal supervision.
Job Responsibilities
• Diagnose & manage cardiovascular diseases
• Provide ongoing treatment & follow up care
• Provide care in clinic and hospital settings
• Develop & implement appropriate treatment plans
• Work collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare providers
• Provide patient centered cardiovascular care
• Maintain appropriate clinical documentation
Qualifications
• Current Nurse Practitioner license through the Arizona Board of Nursing
• Minimum 1 year of Cardiology experience preferred
• DEA eligibility
• Current ACLS & BLS certification
• Strong knowledge of cardiovascular disease assessment & management
• Ability to diagnose & manage patients with minimal supervision
