Provide independent inpatient and outpatient cardiovascular care, evaluating and managing patients with acute and chronic cardiac conditions in collaboration with cardiologists.
Job Responsibilities
Provide inpatient cardiology care for approximately 10–15 patients daily.
Perform physical examinations and develop evidence-based treatment plans.
Interpret EKGs and manage cardiac medications.
Perform and interpret cardiac stress tests; training available if needed.
Coordinate referrals, follow-up care, and continuity of treatment.
Collaborate with cardiologists and multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
Maintain accurate clinical documentation and complete credentialing requirements.
Qualifications
Active NJ DEA, CDS, and applicable certifications.
Minimum 2 years of cardiology experience as an NP.
Prior critical care experience required.
Demonstrated ability to independently evaluate and treat cardiac patients.
